Our Story

I created Cosma because I went through a life-altering health journey and diagnosis that caused me to become more in tune with my body and it’s needs. After years of random and painful symptoms (extreme fatigue, body aches, mood swings, fitful sleep, sudden weight gain, random swelling, painful periods, and brain fog), I was exhausted. I had tried everything, but I finally got some answers when I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder that causes my body to attack my thyroid.

While traditional medication prescribed by my endocrinologist helped manage my disorder, I was still searching for alternative therapies to ease the other symptoms I was still experiencing without the risk of drug interaction. 

After trying all sorts of treatments, I was able to experience meaningful symptom relief with acupuncture. Seeking a less expensive and accessible treatment at home, I discovered ear seeds, a treatment rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that has the same benefits as acupuncture, but without the needles or the in-office visits. At first, I was skeptical that ear seeds could provide the same effects. The first night I tried ear seeds, I instantly fell into a deep sleep and haven’t looked back since. 

Out of this, Cosma was born. Cosma offers ear seeds in convenient starter kits that are accessible and approachable. (I don’t have to split up bulk packs on my dining room table anymore to give to friends and family!) Our starter kits have everything you need to get started safely and easily without the cost prohibitive in-office visit. I created Cosma to share the powerful results that I personally experienced and to allow others to experience the power of ear seeds for themselves in an informative and approachable way.
